Abstract
The hyperfine structure of the 6011 AA line of Pr3+:LaCl3 has been observed by use of the laser-induced fluorescence line narrowing (FLN) technique. To interpret the experimental spectrum the authors have assumed that no transfer occurred between the different nuclear states of the excited level, and that there existed a slight lowering of the symmetry.
