Abstract
IfM is a closed, orientable hyperbolic 3-manifold such that\(\dim _{Z_p } \)H1 (M;Z p ) >-for some primep, thenM contains a hyperbolic ball of radius (log 5)/4. There is also a related result in higher dimensions.
