Abstract

The behavior of Cu2ZnSnS4 quantum well confined in the modified Hylleraas potential has been examined within the framework of the Nikiforov-Uvarov method for solving the radial part of the Schrödinger wave equation. The energy levels, are numerically calculated with an applied magnetic field in order to show their influence on the band gap energy Our results show that the band gap energy is significantly dependent on the applied magnetic field as well as parameters of the confining potential.
