Abstract
Formaldehyde is a harmful volatile organic pollutant to the humans. Here, the CaFe2O4/Zn2SnO4 composite were synthesized by hydrothermal method and the crystal phase, morphologly structures and chemical composition et al. were characterised by XRD, SEM, TEM, BET and XPS. The CaFe2O4/Zn2SnO4 gas sensor displays a high gas response (52), excellent repeatability and selectivity to HCHO at 400 °C. This unique CaFe2O4/Zn2SnO4 composite is available as a potential gas-sensing material to monitor formaldehyde.
