Abstract
NaTaO3 and graphene oxide (GO) were prepared by hydrothermal method and modified Hummers method, respectively, then NaTaO3/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composite photocatalysts were synthesized by hydrothermal method, and were characterized by XRD, FESEM, UV–Vis DRS. On this basis, photocatalytic activity of the composite photocatalyst was studied using methylene blue (MB) synthetic wastewater as the target. The results show that the degradation rate of synthetic wastewater can be promoted by about 15% within the same treatment time after NaTaO3 compounded 1.5 wt% reduced graphene oxide. When irradiated with 8 W UV light source, the degradation rate of synthetic wastewater can reach more than 95% after 90 min treatment. The composite reduced graphene oxide can effectively improve the UV catalytic activity of NaTaO3 photocatalyst.
