Abstract

Abstract Copper nanoparticles were synthesized using hydrosilanes as a reducing agent. The reaction smoothly occurred under remarkably mild conditions, i.e., room temperature. This reaction depended on the counter anions of the copper salts and the structure of the hydrosilanes, and their role is discussed.
