Abstract
A case report of a patient with documented homozygous glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency is presented in which a stillborn male fetus was delivered 2½ weeks after a course of sulfisoxazole was started. Severe erythroblastosis and anemia was found in the fetus without other explanation. A plea is made for reports of similar cases in order to add credibility to the assumptions drawn from this case.
