Abstract

The article is devoted to identifying the reasons for the formation of insoluble silicate deposits on fabrics and equipment during peroxide bleaching of textiles. It is established that one of the key factors responsible for the appearance of such deposits is that the peroxide acts as an initiator of polymerization processes accelerated in the alkaline medium of the bleaching solution.
