Abstract
Recently, significant progress has been made in understanding the energetics, transport, and kinetic behavior of hydrogen in silicon, particularly in hydrogenated amorphous silicon. Many of the basic features of the hydrogen density of states are understood. New experimental results on exchange, solubility, and local motion can be understood in terms of the density of states and are consistent with the kinetics of metastability.
