Abstract
The theory of the nonstationary diffusiophoresis of a large spherical solid particle in a viscous gaseous medium is beginning to be constructed. Hydrodynamic and diffusion problems are divided into stationary and strictly nonstationary parts. The solution of the stationary parts of these problems has yielded the final formula for determining the stationary component of the diffusiophoretic velocity of the particle considered. A corresponding formula in the space of Laplace images has been obtained for determining the nonstationary component of the diffusiophoretic velocity of this particle.
