Abstract
ABSTRACT Types of sulfur-containing compounds and their relative sulfur content in petroleum crudes and fractions were reviewed in this paper. Study methods of hydrodesulfurization (HDS) were developed in laboratory and network and kinetics of HDS were found to efficient in elucidating their reaction mechanism. TPR and TPS techniques were successfully applied for characterization of various HDS catalysts.
