Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the hydrochemical characteristics of the water of Lake Onega in 2022. Some of the hydrochemical parameters were determined by in situ probes, some later in the laboratory. Most samples are characterized by a high degree of oxygen saturation, a high pH level, low concentrations of biogenic elements and dissolved forms of heavy metal ions, but a sufficiently high content of petroleum hydrocarbons. At the same time, the areas of the lake where the hydrochemical characteristics differ in originality are marked. The high vulnerability of the lake ecosystem in combination with anthropogenic load, which may increase in the future, ensure the relevance of monitoring the state of the waters of Lake Onega.
