Abstract

Hydro-acoustic communication channel in underground pipelines, completely filled with water is considered. The source and the signal receiver are inside the pipeline. It is shown that for organization of data transfer in the underground pipeline, it is necessary to consider the propagation of acoustic waves of different modes. And assess the impact of fast modes, arrived at the walls of the metal pipe and slow the modes propagating through a long transmission path, including possible reflections from the walls of the pipe and passed through the soil to the main mode (0,0)
