Abstract

Hydroa vacciniforme-like cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is a rare subtype of cutaneous T cell lymphoma identified in the past few years.The association between this condition and Epstein Barr virus (EBV) infection has been gradually recognized.It mainly affects children and teenagers with the involvement of face and extremities.The clinical manifestations of this entity are distinct,and lesions usually begin with papules,papulovesicles,vesicles,subsequently develop into necrosis,ulcer and crusts,and heal with varioliform scarring.The diagnosis is mainly based on histopathology and immunohistochemistry.At present there is no uniform and effective treatment.Most reported cases were managed by chemotherapy,but the efficacy varied.
