Abstract
Beginning from 1970-1980s as a result of the studies carried out in Guba-Khachmaz region, the thermal waters with the temperature of more than 80 оC were revealed on the Earth surface. These waters are characterized with high recovery rate and have natrium-chloride chemical composition. The chemical composition of thermal waters change appropriately depending on the zone and depth. Thermal waters of Mesozoic (Cretaceous) complex with natrium-chloride composition in Cenozoic sedimentary complex (Upper Productive Series) transfer to the waters with sulfate-natrium composition. Such a geochemical approach is clearly reflected towards the deepening of the sedimentary complex of Productive Series of Khachmaz upland with regard to both anions and cations. Based on the indexes of high temperature and recovery rate, as well as on the parameters of permanent and temporary condition in touristic purposes, the construction of a health resort complex in the territory of Nabran on shore of the Caspian Sea is possible.
