Abstract
The experimental unit on which the hydraulic tests of a new regular cellular (meshed) packing were performed is described. Based on the packing test data, we obtained graphical and analytical relationships which help determine the hydraulic resistance of the packing being sprinkled at various sprinkling densities for two most important hydrodynamic conditions applicable in practice.
