Abstract
This work is concerned with improvement of emission uniformity of emitters by using a new system layouts instead of the traditional system. The first proposed system layout concluded to improve the hydraulic performance by improving the pressure of distribution in the system by connecting the ends of the laterals together in the subunit. For further improvement, a carrier (close pipe convey the water) near the source to the lateral ends has been added to the looped network to represent the second proposed system (looped with carrier network). The third system layout adopts more than one source. And use theoretical program as known Water Cad version 7 to evaluate the hydraulic performance of the systems. The mean relative percentage improvement in the emission uniformity for looped with carrier network as compared with looped network is (9.59%) for adjustable mini bubbler emitter type and (10.13%) for orifice emitter type when lateral length 30m, while (10%) and (10.29%) when lateral length 40m for adjustable mini bubbler and orifice emitter respectively. The mean relative percentage improvement in the emission uniformity for two sources network as compared with looped network is (16.01%) for adjustable mini bubbler emitter type and (16.36%) for orifice emitter type
