Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 04/06/19 Institutionalized older adults have an elevated risk for dehydration due to aging body systems, medication effects, urinary incontinence, impaired mobility and cognition, and the individual’s beverage habits. Being dehydrated has negative consequences on health, participation, and performance.
