Abstract

A case of hydatidiform mole in a 54-year-old woman is presented (her age having been verified by a birth certificate). Because of her age and the precancerous status of this lesion, a total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy were done. Post-operative Aschheim-Zondek tests have been negative.
