Abstract

Increasing consumption of antibiotics in food production leads to intense environmental pollution and a global problem of antimicrobial resistance. Existing methods for cleaning environmental objects from antibiotics are laborious and costly. We analyzed and summarized the achievements in the field of phytoremediation of wastewater from farms and large agricultural enterprises, and developed a hybrid technology for its ecological rehabilitation based on phytoblocks in the form of phytoplants with submerged vegetation, sorption devices with hemp husks and plant microbial fuel cells. It is recommended to create local treatment facilities built into the landscape directly on farms, and at the same time generate electricity..
