Abstract
Organizations that strive for excellence must continually assess their processes, products, and services in order to improve them. By conducting such a self‐assessment, business leaders can identify potential areas for improvement. But which assessment tool is best? The answer for one Moroccan tier‐2 automotive parts supplier was to create a custom evaluation instrument, based on quality management standards developed by the International Automotive Task Force for the automotive sector and the European Foundation for Quality Management's model of excellence.
