Abstract
Purpose: Pre-operative localisation of parathyroid adenomas is often performed with a combination of 99mTc-Sestamibi and ultrasonography (US) of the neck. In most institutions these examinations occur at different time points and are reported by different radiologists.The aim of this study is to evaluate whether SPECT-CT combined with US performed by a single radiologist improves localisation.
