Abstract
In traditional coding algorithm, sampling and compressing are used to reduce the utilization of sampling data, without taking into account the visual redundancy of human eyes. Therefore, a hybrid coding algorithm based on wavelet zero tree and fractal is proposed. Firstly, the concept of wavelet zero tree and fractal is explained. According to the gradient formula, the blocks of video image after segmentation are divided into 3 kinds, and the coding of image blocks is transformed into wavelet domain. At the same time, the wavelet coefficients of all the restored wavelet coefficients are transformed to obtain the reconstructed image. The experimental results show that the algorithm enlarges the range of search space, enriches the diversity of coding, and improves the global search ability of the algorithm, which has some application value.
