Abstract

In article number 2003563, Jeung Ku Kang and co-workers describe aqueous hybrid capacitors assembled via a mesoporous thorn-covered core–shell cathode and a 3D reduced graphene oxide aerogel composite anode. The aqueous capacitors achieve a high energy density up to 125 Wh kg−1, ≈100% Coulombic efficiency over 50 000 cycles, and ultrahigh power density up to 23 998 W kg−1 allowing ultrafast recharge within a minute.
