Abstract

ABSTRACT Large elapids are often kept in zoological collections but the literature only rarely details successful captive breeding. This paper deals with the first documented captive breeding of the Cape cobra. It also give detailed notes on the courtship, oviposition, incubation, hatching, and care of hatchlings.
