Abstract

This article presents reports of a role-playing and sociodrama experience used in the development of teams in obstetric care, carried out between 2000 and 2002, as an integral part of the Ministry of Health program in Humanized Assistance to Women. The objective was to qualify, with the principles of Humanization, the mid- and senior-level professionals who worked in prenatal, childbirth and puerperium services in Brazilian public maternity hospitals in Recife, Joao Pessoa and Macapa.
