Abstract
In the paper we have conducted a comparative analysis of contemporary high-rise residential buildings, taking into account the consequences of the clustering of numerous communities in buildings with a vertical functional and spatial structure. The analysis of specific solutions was aimed at the emergence of cultural, social and technological peculiarities in residential high-rise buildings in Europe in the years 2000 – 2022. The accumulated factual material made it possible to identify the distinctive features of high-rise residential buildings and to analyze them in terms of the requirements for vertical habitats, with emphasis placed on the arrangement of common zones. An analysis of the humanization of their residential environment was carried out.
