Abstract
Elderly is an emerging issue. There is a growing concern in world especially in developing countries, how the elderly people will be supported and cared for in a new millennium that is a big concern.. Most of the elderly people of Bangladesh aren't in a good socio-economic condition due of various problems such as poverty, wage discrimination, want of essential goods and situation. Present human rights situation of older people are not good. Unite Nations has taken initiatives to ensure the rights of older people. Developed and Developing countries are also taken initiatives like policy formulation .Bangladesh government aware to preserve the rights of older persons.
