Human Resources Management of the MICE Industry - Taking Shanghai World Expo for Example

Abstract

Human Resources strategic management of the MICE(meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) industry, is to predict, assess and make strategic decisions of human resources situation of this industry. HR strategic management of the MICE industry is not just a concept, but an organic system which should be composed by the human resources strategic management philosophy, human resource strategy planning. As a new economic growth point, saying the MICE industry, the implementation of scientific and standardized management of human resources is imminent, so the exhibition business must make great efforts to construct a new human resources development and management system. Taking Shanghai World Expo for example, this paper analyses the status quo of the human resources of China's MICE industry, and makes predictions in the human resource needs of the Shanghai World Expo, as well as puts out the idea of strategic management of human resources of the MICE industry.
