Human Resource Requirements of Global Industry

Abstract

The industrial world is now striving toward establishment of a global marketplace with worldwide competition. Therefore, companies must ensure that their efforts are focused on this internationalization, and must aim to increase their competitiveness.Considering this new international focus, industrial world needs individuals who are able to demonstrate following talents and abilities:a)The ability to speak and understand different languages.International communication and globalization of business is related not only to economic exchange but also to cultural exchange.b) Problem-finding and solving abilities and creativity.These skills are necessary so that new can be developed and applied both domestically and internationally.c) Initiative and ability to think and take action.Individuals must be able to embrace challenge by thinkng for the-mselves and taking initiative, as opposed to simply following orders.In ways mentioned above, human resources are currently underde-veloped within industrial world. Also important is creation of an open information exchange between administrative, academic, and in-dustrial worlds. Such an exchange is necessary for the promotion of basic research and education of scientific technology for our technology-oriented country, and for entire industrial world.
