Abstract

Purpose: The authors conducted a study of the mechanism of conservation of natural resources; they studied the interdependence of decisions regarding human potential, its key importance for the hospitality industry and the recreational resources of nature that preserve human health. This in general creates the basis for the innovative development of socio-economic systems and expands the list of new paradigms of public life. Design/methodology/approach: The methodological basis of the research is the essential provisions of conceptual studies of domestic and foreign economists on various aspects of regional management, publications in the press of practitioners, which made it possible to summarize the relevant international and domestic experience in the use of recreational resources. Findings: The evolution of socio-economic systems is inextricably linked to the development of certain fields of social and economic life, in particular, the tourism and hospitality industries. A key resource for hospitality is the human potential used with good health, which can be preserved through natural recreational resources. One of the tasks is to establish an appropriate system of training of qualified personnel in the country. Another is the identification of mechanisms for ensuring the sustainable development of natural and recreational systems that people need for self-reproduction. Originality/value: The novelty of the present research is that objective need and special relevance of priority use of natural and recreational resources for development and expanded reproduction of human capacity of the country is revealed and proved what has to define criteria for approval (statement) of applied projects of resource use.
