Abstract

As presented in the first part of the scientific study, it aims to identify the particular situations arising from the new realities in which human dignity is to be protected. An important aspect in this regard is the respect for human dignity in conditions of deprivation of liberty and detention. However, by applying coercive measures, the state has several positive obligations that it must honor, which represent fundamental human rights: the right to life and physical integrity, the right not to be subjected to illtreatment. We will complete the study by exposing the ethical and legal aspects of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) systems on human dignity.
