Abstract

A 67-year-old man presented with a 3-day history of dull right-sided chest pain. Plain and contrast-enhanced chest computed tomography revealed a heterogeneous, solid cystic lesion (11.0 × 9.7 cm) in the right mediastinum. The lesion showed a clear margin and peripheral annular calcification (Figure 1A), with a few patchy enhancement shadows (Figure 1B, arrow). We observed a mass effect, with collapse of the upper lobe of the right lung and trachea shift.
