Abstract

Head-up display (HUD) is a kind of augmented reality (AR) display. HUD projects an image on a transparent plate, and overlap the image on the immediate environment. In general HUDs, an image out of a display module are reflected by a flat surface mirror. Then the reflective image is magnified by a lens. Finally the magnified image is projected on a front window or a combiner, transparent reflective plate. In a display module, a light source and a display device are mounted.
