Abstract

The unpreparedness of pregnant women and their families in facing childbirth is one of the causes of delays in recognizing danger signs and making decisions when facing complications during pregnancy and childbirth. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of ANC services and the readiness of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing childbirth in the new adaptation era at the Buleleng I Public Health Center. The research method is quantitative using a correlational analytic design with aapproachcross sectional. Sampling as many as 44 people with purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using primary data with a questionnaire sheet. The results showed that most of the pregnant women rated the quality of ANC services as satisfactory, as many as 32 people (72.7%) and readiness to face childbirth in the good category as many as 27 people (61.4%). The results of Chi-Square test obtained a p value of 0.002 (α = 0.05), it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the quality of ANC services and the readiness of pregnant women in the third trimester in facing childbirth in the new adaptation era at the Buleleng I Public Health Center.
