Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between : 1) the professional competence with performance of teachers, 2) the organizational culture with performance of teachers, 3) the professional competence and cultural organizations together with teacher performance . This research is correlational deskiptif . The population was biology teacher of junior high school in Binjai , with sample of 48 people. Data analysis techniques used were correlation analysis and simple and multiple regression. Results of data analysis showed that: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between the professional competence with performance of teachers; 2 ) there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture with teacher performance, 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between professional competence and organizational culture together with the performance of biology teacher’s. Conclusions of this study is that there are positive and significant relationship between professional competence and organizational culture, alone or together with the performance of biology teacher’s of junior high school in Binjai.
