Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-acceptance in young vocational school students. This research is quantitative research. The data collection technique used is random sampling technique using a Likert scale. The results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.533 with a sign of 0.000 (p <0.005), meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between body image and self-acceptance. The analysis showed that the hypothesis was accepted, namely that there was a relationship between body image and self-acceptance in vocational youth and the direction of the relationship, namely positive, which means that the higher the body image possessed by students, the higher self-acceptance in adolescents, conversely, the lower the body image possessed by adolescents, the lower the level of self-acceptance in adolescents.
