Abstract
Islam gives special importance to the relation between husband and wife .In Islamic teaching emphasis has been laid to keep intact the conjugal relation to every possible extent .But if in the event of some unavoidable circumstances ,Islam allow the right of divorce to be used .But this is the last resort. In its to spirit the divorce should be given in some special situations .Because divorce has many implications not only on the kids and spouses ,but also the whole family and even on the society as well. The study of the causes of divorce shows that it mostly occurs because of non provision of mutual rights by either side and Islam lays special emphasis on human rights. There are Islamic teaching and the establishment of Islamic society is the panacea of all our ills.
