Abstract

In appraising oncology therapies, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) evaluates clinical and cost-effectiveness vs standard of care; the impact of unmet need on recommendations is unclear. We surveyed NICE appraisal outcomes using line of therapy (LoT) and comparator therapy class as surrogate measures of unmet need.
