Abstract

In this research, the relationship between export knowledge, marketing planning capabilities, product development capabilities, production performance and export performance were investigated using structural equation model (SEM). Main body of this study consists of companies doing business in the Turkish automotive supplier industry exports. In this study, 399 questionnaires were available for the aforementioned variables which can help organizations to improve production and export performance has been evaluated in. According to the results of the model; Export Knowledge has positive effects on three variables except production performance. Marketing planning capabilities have positive effects on product development capabilities, production and export performance. Product development capabilities have positive effect on production performance but not on export performance. Production performance has positive effect on export performance.
