Abstract

Summary The new species, Hoya minutiflora Rodda & Simonsson sp. nov. is described and illustrated. This species, previously identified as Hoya ruscifolia Decaisne, an unapplicable name, is known only from a living specimen of unknown origin growing at Hortus Botanicus Leiden. While presenting the typical flower morphology of species in Hoya section Acanthostemma, it is different from all other described species due to its combination of small flower size, erect corona lobes, and leaf shape.
