Abstract
After spending most of his professional career in the entertainment industry, attorney Kery Davis made a significant career shift in 2015 when he became the Director of Athletics at Howard University, a renowned historically Black university in Washington, D.C. Having played Division I basketball at Dartmouth College, he was familiar with the life of a college student‐athlete but running a multi‐sport athletics department was something new.
