Abstract

Young people are underemployed because of a lack of personal image management skills such as business etiquette, empathy, and intercultural awareness that companies need. IITTI helps young people to enhance these diverse skill sets in order to be prepared for their future of work. We do so by creating a universal, soft skills measurement standard called ‘World Civility Index’ where job-seekers can earn points after training, and HRs can assess the applicant’s level of competency. As this measurement is an open-standard, all employers can adopt to it. It is now part of United Nations Sustainable Development to help young people gain meaningful employment.
