Abstract

An ambush election environment forces companies to “time shift” their communications about unions. Since employers may now get less time to communicate after an election petition is filed, there is a need for more communication before a union arrives. The good news is that the better the job you do up front, the less likely a union organizer will ever gain any traction with your employees.
