Abstract
Two-stage concreting is produced by placing stone aggregate in a form and later injecting grout (water, cement and sand), usually with admixtures, to fill the voids. Due to lower costs and acceleration of performance of many constructions, the two-stage concrete has been used more and more often. The compressive strength of the two-stage concrete depends mainly on the strength of stone aggregates, so that, the commonly used formulae for compressive strength of traditional concrete are not valid. Moreover, there is no information on the design of such concrete. The aim of this paper is to propose an algorithm for the design concretes made by two-stage method.
