Abstract

A 25-year-old woman without childbearing history was admitted to our hospital because of multiple ovarian cysts that were found by ultrasound more than 1 year ago. She had no history of menstrual changes and oral contraceptives, and the serum sex steroids and tumor markers tests were normal. Ultrasound revealed that multiple circular anechoic areas were observed in the right ovary. The maximum diameter was approximately 5 cm and the minimum diameter was approximately 0.5 cm (Fig. 1). She underwent laparoscopic exploration.
