Abstract

This book chapter, to be published in French for a foreign audience, explores the judicial and legislative responses occurring in the United States as a result of the “MeToo” movement. The chapter discusses the different ways in which courts are viewing the relevance of the movement for the interpretation of sexual harassment law, as well as proposed and enacted legislation at the federal and state levels that would change or has changed the way in which sexual harassment claims are addressed.
