Abstract
Purpose: Wear can affect the performance and comfort of contact lenses. Lipid characterisation and surface analytical techniques were used to investigate the effect that lipids have on lens surface properties and establish a correlation with individual lipid profiles. This will be used to link patient tear profiles with in vivo performance.
