Abstract On April 4, 1975, in her speech to the personnel concerned with the Bureau of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture and the film studios at Peking who attended the conference on methods of dyeing and printing, Chiang Ch'ing, the arch careerist and conspirator, said: "In my childhood, I bitterly hated feudalism. My mother was struck down by feudalism and to protect her, I was pushed to the ground, thus one of my teeth was broken — the yellowish one I have now. I started to combat feudalism in my childhood."
