ObjectiveDescribe the relationship between parent and adolescent food shopping patterns and behaviors and association with dietary intake.DescriptionAdolescents and their primary caregiver were recruited to participate in a cross-sectional survey in four counties of Kentucky and Ohio in fall 2013.EvaluationAdolescents who purchase food from school vending, gas stations, and convenience stores combined consumed more sugar-sweetened beverages.
